📖 What are your favorite books? With our Book Drive coming up, we were curious what books our community loves to read. They can be fiction or non-fiction!

📣 In 3 days, we will start our 5th Dream Big Book Harvest Book Drive at the co-op! Mark your calendars, plan to donate books, and help support children’s literacy in our community. Every child should have access to books to learn and grow! 📚 🤗 (Here's a fun picture from their event last year!)

🕎 Happy Hanukkah from the co-op! Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights, is a time of dedication and joy!  🍑 Every year, our bakery makes fresh, delicious rugelach, filled with apricot and walnuts—a sweet tribute to our cherished Jewish community. May your Hanukkah be filled with light, love, and joy! 💜

🙂‍↕️UNC's Graduate students didn't just tour our Food House; they visited 1 of our favorite community partners, the Marian Cheek Jackson Center! 💜Renna Voss, Student Engagement & Food Justice Fellow & Delores Bailey, Northside resident/community organizer, spoke about the organization's advocacy work.

In October, we invited UNC's Graduate School students to tour our Food House. They tried our prepared foods and then split into 2 rotating groups. One group toured the Food House, and one group stayed to discuss our outreach initiatives. 🤝

Did you know? We have 4 stores and a food house! There are 4 Weaver Street Market stores in Carrboro, Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, and Raleigh! Our Food House is located in Hillsborough, and it's where we create all of our prepared foods, breads, and pastries!
