This all stems from a user on the "Kids Meal Wiki" (hosted on Fandom, formerly Wikia) making an edit to the "McDonald's Happy Meal (USA)/List of toys" page back in June, stating that Pokémon would be the Happy Meal promotion in January-February 2026 (they later revised this to February-March).

The Pokémon McDonald's Happy Meal information going around right now is fake. Could there be a Pokémon 30th Anniversary McDonald's promotion? Sure. But the currently-discussed stuff is speculation at best.
