I may survive the editing process. Barely. So how's everyone else doing?

Just coming out of the editing cage... I'm mentally drained, stiff from sitting so many hours, eyes watering from staring at the computer... and that's just the first 21 pages....

sigh. it's just been one of those days, you know? People giving you a hard time over everything, even when they're wrong. I'd have a nice glass of amaretto, but I took ibuprofen for my backache from painting the bathroom. sigh...

So, lost car key fob. Ford dealer tells us $600 for new fob, which includes $250 to 'program' it. Wow, the average person gets screwed by EVERYONE. Yes, I'm pissy. It's probably $25 in parts, they connect the fob to computer, & it's done in 2 minutes. Such bullshit.

Opened pool. By the time it clears up this weekend, it'll be in the 50's and I'll be back in sweats...

The bathroom, which had a leak, has been demoed and the rebuild is progressing. It's going to be beautiful, but... the noise (upsets the cat), the dust, the inconvenience... sigh. I'm grateful we can afford to have it fixed. Just needed a little venting. Going back to writing...

The guys are here to demo my shower/tub. Oy, the dust and mess. Be glad when it's over. Except I'll have to deep clean the ENTIRE house.... (but grateful that we can afford to have it fixed).

manuscript off to the editor, now working on the marketing stuff. ugh. Can't someone volunteer to walk me through that stuff so I can just write novels? WHY did all my sons have to be engineers and not one a marketing specialist?

Can't believe how hard it is to give away a FREE baby grand piano, in great condition. (my church doesn't want it anymore).

On our bike ride on the Columbia Trail (NJ) saw a blue heron, robin, snake, deer, goose, duck.

Final song of our bellringing season- a favorite...

I think writing the book, even with editing numerous times, is easier than all the marketing... sigh.
