Researchers in Laplace generally need to ask the director (Lucy) for fundings, but X seem to have contact with "Mr. Laplace" and "adult Mesmer" and regularly ask them to invest in his research. But perhaps it's more a funding for Lorentz, since X seem to be their spokesperson. #reverse1999

// Eagle's anecdote I wonder what became of Eagle's mom after the anedote. Eagle was very protective of her mother and only accepted to join Laplace/Lorentz once her mother said she would stay close to the foundation But the foundation don't protect the family of their staff from the storm.

I think we will be stuck with those critters for all the part 2 of the story. But I bet those critters are still X in disguise.. somehow

Does this imply that X is the one who made Lucy's base mechanical body? Lucy joined 8 years ago while X seemingly joined only around 2/3 years ago but Lucy said in the Livestream that she updated her body to make it easier to work with Laplace, so it is still possible he made the last update..

// Spoiler : 37's Anecdote Their relationship is very interesting, they are 2 nerds talking about math and rocks, and X act like the mom of the group when she is here. I hope 37 find his number soon, I need to know what it is (my HC is that it is 1.. or infinity).

My main theory about Lorentz's goal is that they want to replace the original butterfly (which they consider as broken) with one of their own (X), to get the world back in a better "order", but they need to find the original butterfly first for this plan to work..

We know Lorentz sent some of their investigators to look into the Manus, and Manus fought with those investigators in the past. It wouldn't be surprising if "moth" is one of those investigators, sending info they find to the foundation, the same way they sent research data to Laplace.

Lorentz don't seem to be completely a secret in Laplace, Lucy at least seem to know they are here. They are the ones who told her the way to forecast the storm, they even sent her a whole report about the original butterfly.

What the Manus know of Lorentz : - founded after the Storm - hidden within but independent of Laplace - research the chaos energy of Arcanum - distrust human tech - searching for the Original Butterfly - all of their members whereabouts are unknown - have hidden branchs all over the world

I am still not sure i understand this part even after watching it so many time.. but it really feel like X started the rain (the storm).. like the butterfly effect. And X seemed to be nownere to be seen when the storm started in Vienna..

Lorentz's members seem to usually wear a butterfly on their outfit, but it don't seem to be a forced rule, because Eagle still chose to wear her scout uniform. It could also be a wrong assumption from Pandora Wilson, after she met with X.

X is the one who recruited Eagle to Lorentz/Laplace, after her father (who was part of Lorentz) passed away. Her anecdote make it a little unclear but X was probably trying to hide that fact from Eagle's mom. He seem to be a regular recruiter (Eagle + Regulus)
