loading . . . Neurodivergence and projects I originally planned for my first real post to be about one of my many current projects. But, since Iām still gathering the 'spoons' for that deep dive, I wanted to share something a bit more personal first.
As someone who is neurodivergentāliving with ADHD and OCD my entire lifeāthese traits have been both my greatest frustration and my biggest superpower. In the past, switching between interests so rapidly often meant blowing my budget before a project even got off the ground. Itās been a lifelong struggle, but recently starting ADHD medication has been truly life-changing.
The best part? While things are better managed, it hasn't numbed who I am. My 'superpower' is still intact: I absolutely LOVE learning. Whether itās 3D printing, jarrariums, Meshtastic, Ham Radio, designing a CPU, keeping chickens, designing PCBs, or home labbingāIām still driven by that curiosity. The difference now is that I can actually focus on them instead of constantly task-switching. Maybe Iāll even finish a few! š
My hope for this space is to document these projects and share the things I enjoy, even if Iām just shouting into the internet void. If youāre along for the ride, thank you for joining me. https://techiegirl.net/neurodivergence-and-projects/
