Don't you ever dare to tell me to commit seppuku or harakiri for not watching any MCU, Star Wars, or any pop culture media. I seen some of the movies as a kid through TV, VHS, and library DVD because I can't afford streaming or purchasing full retail price.

As a kid, I tend to avoid most programs with TV-14 or TV-MA ratings knowing that my mom would caught me watching such and get mad at me. I would try to watch TV-Y, TV-G, or TV-PG (only for traveling and culinary shows).

Back in the 2010s, Game of Thrones was so popular back then and I never seen it that time because I don't have HBO. In 2022 or so, I bought the first four seasons for $20 through FB Marketplace and still haven't finished it due to homework.

I gotta say this right now. So here it goes. I do not care for Adventure Time. Because the promos that they show are kinda cringe, especially a few certain parts that give me PTSD. Though I did seen a few episodes and clips, I still don't like that show. I know my friends love that show for years.

While Cordoviz’s GeoCities site is long gone, Azarcon-Tiongson’s site’s still up Interestingly, it also says she was in the mythical Telesuccess dub of Weiss Kreuz. Parasite Dolls has a weird history. ADV helped produce it, and yet for a period of time Urban Vision held the license (no, really). Like a lot of other stuff ADV “owned”, it eventually ended up in AEsir holdings, so it’s a bit of a shock to see it leave. www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2003-04...

That would limit things to Kino's Journey 2003 (but not the two short films that came later), Elfen Lied (TV+OVA), Chance Pop Session, & Samurai Gun (though that last one's never been touched since 2008). Maybe Parasite Dolls can be counted, too, since it's been on Hidive for so long until just now.

ADV might have helped pay for more productions in small ways, but that doesn't necessarily give them automatic (& eternal) international rights. That's why I say anything that's been re-released by "Zombie ADV" (i.e. 2010 & beyond) or streamed on Hidive is all that ADV possibly truly co-own.

Just got a neat release in: The Philippines-market 22-disc VCD set of (Fighting General) Daimos from MagnaVision with the Telesuccess English dub. Beat up, but these are rare here in the states. (For reference, Discotek managed to fit the entire series on a single SDBD, sans dub)

My high school science professor/football coach express his disdain for a then-recent flick called The Emoji Movie and told his class that he hated it. I knew that US cartoons were in its last leg back then. That's one of the reasons why I love Hentai more than ever because it has a better story.

I got a neighboring student who is a die-hard LOTR fan and he said he didn't finished "War of the Rohirrim" after 5 minutes. I thought it's a great movie because it's based from a popular IP and it's an anime movie.
