Corrosion Of Conformity - Animosity (1985) Going hard this afternoon. Recently acquired an original pressing of CoC’s second album. It’s a bit crispy in between cuts but since The whole album is loud it doesn’t really negatively impact the music overall. #Vinyl

One Battle After Another (2025) We caught an IMAX showing this afternoon. It’s easily the best film I’ve seen all year. Might have to put together a “Bob Ferguson” costume for Halloween.

Water From Your Eyes - It’s A Beautiful Place (2025) I was a bit lukewarm for their debut album but I really love Nate Amos solo work as This Is Lorelei and absolutely love this, their sophomore album. # Vinyl

Fig Dish - That's What Love Songs Often Do (1995) Another killer mid-90s Alternative album that got lost in the shuffle. This album rips! Glad they were able to get it pressed on wax, It’s a beautiful pressing too everything sounds gigantic. #Vinyl

Teenage Fanclub - Bandwagonesque (1991) This was Spin Magazine’s best album of 1991. It beat out R.E.M.’s Out Of Time (2), and Nirvana’s Nevermind (3) for that honor. As much as I love those albums Bandwagonesque is an all time classic as well. #Vinyl

Cocteau Twins - Heaven Or LAs Vegas (1990) Some afternoon dream pop to get me through Wednesday. #Vinyl

The Kinks - Arthur (Or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire) (1969) I feel like The Kinks get a bit short changed in the British Rock canon. They were certainly popular but I always feel like they are last names mentioned when discussing the greats of the British Invasion era. #Vinyl

Supersnazz - Superstupid! (1993) Found this album sealed at my local, Hi-Voltage Records, in the “Recent Arrivals” bin, it was a band I was unfamiliar with but the year was 1993 and label is Sub Pop so I just went for it. It was the right decision. It’s a fun one. Some Japanese Garage Punk. #Vinyl

King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard With A Mild High Club - Sketches Of Brunswick East (2017) KGATLW ‘s abilities to vary their style from album to album is what makes them special. This is one of their chillest records and also one of my favorites. #Vinyl

Daniel Lanois - For The Beauty of Wynona (1993) I first learned about Lanois from Dave Matthews cover the title track and “The Maker”, it was not until a bit later did I learned that he had also produced some incredible albums too. #Vinyl
