The Meat Puppets - Too High To Die (1994) This was one of the reissues from 2025 that I was the most hyped about. A classic of the Alt. Rock era that hadn’t been repressed ever until this year. It’s a quality release too! #Vinyl

Sky Ferreira Night Time, My Time (2013) FOMO got the best of me when Enjoy The Ride announced a badly needed repress of this indie pop classic. Turns out Capitol also ended up putting out their own repress only pressed at RTI and with a gatefold sleeve… so now I have two copies, so it goes. #Vinyl

Water Damage - Instruments (2025) One of my favorite discoveries of this year was this Austin based drone rock collective. #Vinyl

Tacoma Radar - No One Waved Goodbye (2004) This one was new to me. It came highly recommended from my local record store clerk and it’s an absolutely beautiful record. Given the bands name, I was surprised to learn they were Scottish and not from the PNW. #Vinyl

Brightblack Morning Light - Motion To Rejoin (2008) This album is the soundtrack to marijuana smoke dancing with a beam of sunlight. #Vinyl

Porno For Pyros - Porno For Pyros (1993) Another Rhino audiophile title, this one apart of their slightly more budget friendly “Rhino Reserve” series. It’s another winner sonically. The best this album has ever sounded. #Vinyl

Wilco - A.M. (1995) Wow, so I picked this one up on a bit of a whim as I already had a fine copy of the VMP pressing. I will say this Rhino Hi-Fi pressing blows that one out of the water. It sounds fantastic! #Vinyl

Bob Dylan - Oh Mercy (1989) Daniel Lanois production proved to be an outstanding match for late period Dylan. They would team up again to kick off a creative resurgence with 97s Time Out Of Mind but this album really established a template. #Vinyl

Bob Dylan - New Morning (1970) The return of Dylan’s normal singing voice. This whole record feels loose and carefree. Great “enjoying a beer on the back patio” music. #Vinyl

Bob Dylan - Self Portrait (1970) This recorded in unfairly maligned. While it’s more a hodgepodge collection of cast offs, covers, and live recordings that didn’t entirely work, it’s still has some juice. #Vinyl

Bob Dylan - Nashville Skyline (1969) I remember first hearing “One More Night” and being blown away that it was Dylan singing. This entire record he sings in a croon that sounds so different than any of his other albums. #Vinyl

Lemonheads - Lovey (1990) Staying with the Lemonheads. Spinning the recent reissue of the first record where Evan started to really take control of the direction of the bands sound. #Vinyl

The Lemonheads - Love Chant (2025) So many legendary acts released albums following a long hiatus this year. We got killer new records from Pulp, Stereolab, and now The first new Lemonheads album of original material in 20 years and it is great! #Vinyl

Guided By Voices - Thick Rich And Delicious (2025) This new GBV record is the best thing they’ve released in years and they’ve been regularly releasing really good records but this new one might be my favorite since their heyday. #Vinyl

Orcutt Shelley Miller - Orcutt Shelley Miller (2025) Bill Orcutt formerly of Harry Pussy, Steve Shelley Formerly of Sonic Youth, and Ethan Miller formerly of Comets On Fire dropping some improvised psych rock fire! This pressing was an edition of 500 that came in a nice custom jacket. #Vinyl

Liquid Mike - Hell Is An Airport (2025) Like their last few albums this new one is fantastic. Chocked full of Lo-Fi Pop Punk goodness! I love that every album they put out has come in a silk-screened jacket. It’s a nice custom touch. #Vinyl

Good Flying Birds - Talulah’s Tape (2025) This album is awesome! It’s jangly Lo-Fi guitar pop from the Midwest. What more could you want? #Vinyl
