hi!!! i hardly log onto here anymore because i’m so busy, but i just wanted to drop in and say that i’m 2/3 of the way through the next dkbk chapter! i know it’s been slow going, but i’m moving in less than two weeks, so my life has been crazy! i hope to get back to it soon.

i have a terrible cough again so writing updates are once again delayed. this whole thing has been just miserable. i think i will be going back to the doctor after work tomorrow because i can’t do this anymore

so, my writing progress this week has been really shit as i’ve been battling pretty icky sickness. unfortunately, no fic updates this week, hoping that changes next week!!

the next chapter of the light may flicker is really challenging me as a writer!!! writing mental illness adequately is really hard but i am committed to reflecting it well. all that to say, have patience with me. it’s coming.

finishing my first longer haikyuu fic was really fun! i find myself writing in a completely different way when writing kghn instead of bkdk. i focus a lot more on nuances and description where as bkdk for me is more internal emotions. it’s been so fun to explore a new voice!!

i need to decide on a new name to go by because my dead name is not hitting anymore. i go by my middle name on here because its better but not great. hopefully i don’t confuse any followers when i change names but its gonna happen soon.

no one deserves to be shot and killed. charlie kirk was a bad person. we need gun reform. this country is a mess. all of these statements can be true at the same time.

charlie kirk came and spoke at a university i UNFORTUNATELY attended for undergrad. (prize if you can guess which one. i hate it). he was always so cruel and said such nasty things and expected us all to laugh along with him. i hope he is where he deserves to be.

i think finding little typos here and there in fanfics is endearing. it tells me that a human made it, and as long as it’s not every paragraph, i think it’s cute to see little bits of humanity shining through 🥲
