I have solved the issue by first writing things in 3rd person pov and then simply going back and changing the pronouns around to first 1st person pov.

i have just discovered a new downfall to writing in first person pov: writing kiss scenes when...you've never been kissed. luckily, this scene is meant to be a little awkward, due to it being a 'first kiss' sort of thing, but still. 'tis difficult writing LOL

My PotC fanfic has officially hit 100k words. Considering I didn't have too high of hopes of this story going anywhere when I first started writing it...that's pretty damned good.

Nothing like having to guzzle two tall glasses of milk to stop your mouth from being on fire due to dinner. Dad made steak fingers and coated them in a Cajun breading and also had spicy french fries to go with it. I could only eat half of the meal before I had to run for milk.

My PotC fic is less than 500 words short of being 100k words...and it's still just the beginning of the story. The joys of deciding to start with teenaged Jack and Emil rather than CotBP...
