Doubs is no game-changer. This grade for me is more about the fact the #Patriots did what they had to do (get the best WR available), how he fits, plus how it affects the A.J. Brown conversation, IMO.

Pats could trade for Brown right up until kickoff Week 1. Philly's finacial pain is much less after June 1. There's a window.

The number I’m watching for Alex Pierce is $30 million per year. Will a team go there? I expect the #Patriots to be involved at $27 million, but I’m not sure about $30 million. Then again, minds change during a bidding war, like Milton Williams last year. We’ll know soon.

I was all about a Maxx Crosby trade for the #Patriots this offseason, but not for 2 1st-round picks. No chance. I’m surprised the Ravens went there with such a deep free-agent edge class. But fun to see them go for it.
