Go into the bathroom at 6am, finish within 2 minutes, and then I leave the room and my gf is sitting staring directly at me in the darkness. I jump and have a lil screm, and then the moment I land I jump and screm a *second* time lmfao First time in my life I’ve ever been double-scared……..

I love how fast I go from solving some ridiculously complicated problem or teaching a gf some complicated programming thing and then I curl up on the couch and say stupid stuff like “im sleeby. noooo no light light is bad. oh that lights ok its blocked by that thingything. yeah that. lub u toooo”

If anybody that knows me has ever been curious what my main job has been, it’s this! It’s been an entire year and a half since the last major update, and I’m super happy with all the improvements we made this time :3 It’s definitely still missing polish in a lot of places, but it’s getting closer…

I was trying a recipe today that called for beetroot, which I’ve never had before, and after the experience I can make two assertions: 1. Beetroots are literal actual alien plants, why tf are they so purple and squishy and wet 2. They straight up just taste like dirt. Why is this in any recipe????

I was at a shop with my girlfriend today looking at nail polish for her. And then somehow I ended up with one for me?? Admittedly, it *is* perfect for me though. Not because the colour… but instead because it is *incredibly tiny* I feel so much kinship with this bottle of nail polish

for the longest time i felt ashamed for my unfinished projects, esp. ones people were excited for or helped fund. but… i’ve always been in survival mode. i’ve always had adhd. it’s not shame now. these projects can sit alongside the things i’d like to do for me, when i’m *safe*. and that is okay.

People on Twitter keep calling Bluesky an "echo chamber" but after literal years in what can only be described as a "screaming chamber" I will take a respite where I can get it
