Nearly October and that’s always means two of my favourite events fast approaching! I’ve loads of shiny new stock fresh off the sewing machine, so not come along and see!

The last few days were set aside to do my tax return. As you can see, it’s been going really well and I’ve not got distracted in the slightest… Anyway, this is new stock for my upcoming markets (this won’t be going online as at the moment I’m not quite sure how I’d manage to post it!)

My next trading event is in just over a month! The Dark Arts Market is back at the Vat and Fiddle, it’s a short walk from the station, the station car park is fairly inexpensive if you’re coming from further afield, and it an accessible, dog friendly venue!

Sorry I’ve been a bit quiet on here, I’ve been working on lots of orders I can’t share yet, but I can share this one which was collected yesterday.

Last weekend my friend Sophie reminded me of the film Kingdom of heaven, which in turn reminded me of some of the costumes of Sibylla, which reminded me of an offcut of sari fabric that was left over from another job, which meant I then had to make this hood.

Just a little over 3 weeks till Fantasy forest festival I’ve two orders left to complete and one wedding dress for the week after, all of which should (hopefully) be finished next week, meaning I might actually finish the outfit for myself that never got finished for last year!

Today I put the finishing touches on two of the orders for Fantasy Forest Festival but I won’t share those with you till after the event, so here’s a stunning image of and by Domina Ex Mortis wearing a wisteria set I made for a catwalk show a few years ago, I really should sell this one!

Beth’s English flower meadow wedding dress. The skirt and veil have hundreds of hand sewn flowers, the under layer of the skirt an ombré dyed hem, and of course what meadow would be complete without some bees and ladybirds, and I couldn’t resist adding a lucky four leaf clover to the veil!

Given I’ll be trading at Hebden Bridge Burlesque Festival in a few weeks, I felt it was time to revisit my High vis design, but with added sequins

I made myself a new 18th century pocket out of a 99p charity shop vintage embroidered silk cushion cover.

This set is just back from a little adventure for a photoshoot, and is another of the one of a kind pieces that will be coming along with me to the Leeds alternative market next month!

This is a bit of advance warning that I’ll be bringing some hard to ship pieces to the Leeds Festival of gothica Leeds Alternative Market on 15 March, including this one of a kind angel set made for the exhibition at Bankfield Museum last year.
