People who jump in front of moving vehicles tend to get hit. Murdering the driver is not a legitimate response.

After a law-enforcement officer shoots someone, protocol requires the officer to then render aid without delay. Most law-enforcement personnel are trained to do that and carry trauma kits. Blocking medical personnel from the scene until the shooting victim bleeds out is not al option.
