I dunno how or where or when it started, but the idea that art isn't a set of extremely technical skills, and is instead some sort of purely emotional exercise is fucking bullshit. People without technical skill will not know how to mix paint, draw a nose, or design a font.

We need to outlaw leaf blowers. It is not a big deal if there are dead leaves on your front porch. Disturbing the entire neighborhood with that awful noise is a big deal though. Please, make the noise stop 😭
