The Attorney General’s obligation is to the law and to the people of Colorado, not to any party or outside pressure. As Colorado’s next Attorney General, I will make decisions grounded in the law over party and fight for every community across our state.

Political violence has no place in our country. It does not matter what party is involved or who is targeted. As Colorado’s next Attorney General, I will not tolerate political violence, and I will hold those responsible accountable to the fullest extent of the law.

Fighting for victims and their families is what drives me. I was honored to stand with Ellen and all the victims of the King Soopers shooting in court and secure the outcome those victims and their loved ones deserved.

On this tragic day five years ago, our community lost ten wonderful people in the horrific attack. My heart goes out to the victims, their many loved ones, the first responders and our community members. This difficult day brings back a lot of memories for all of us.

Grateful to have the endorsement of Rocky Mountain Equality Action Fund. Their commitment to building communities where LGBTQ+ Coloradans are treated with dignity and respect reflects exactly what this work should be about.

What ifs like these raise a simple question: who has the experience to stand in court, lead attorneys, and defend the law? Colorado needs an Attorney General with experience as a lawyer and leader, ready to take on these serious challenges from day one. As your next AG, I will do exactly that.

This campaign is built on community. It was amazing to go to so many Caucuses and Assembly’s and listen to voters, have meaningful conversations and share my vision for Colorado.

The Attorney General represents the people of Colorado. That role is built on trust. When an Attorney General candidate claims personal credit for work they did not personally argue or lead, that is not a small exaggeration. It is a credibility issue.
