These are the entries in the Outdoor Literature and Guidebook categories in the 2025 National Outdoor Book Awards. The books are judged by a national panel of judges and the winners will be announced Thursday, November 13th. Over the next few days, I'll include the other entries in the program.

We just opened nominations for the 2025 National Outdoor Book Awards (NOBA). The program recognizes outstanding outdoor writing and publishing. Entry forms and eligibility requirements are available on the NOBA web site: www.noba-web.org/policy.htm (The painting is Thomas Cole's 1836 "The Oxbow")

An outdoor writing and photography contest for young people (North American high school and college students) is now taking entries. Cash prizes are awarded to the top placers. Here's more information: owaa.org/contests/
