Had a drive over to Locke Park at Redcar with Alice just now. It's such a lovely Park, I could spend hours here. Time for some fish and chips by the sea before we had back home.

Bit of a late one but good morning!! Currently getting ready to take Alice for a walk. It feels weird because Ade has been doing most of her walking lately with him being off but he's away back to graft today so it's back into the old routines.

Thats 2 uniform loads done. Time to hoover. Because the way I see it, the quicker I rattle through these chores the quicker I get to enjoy the rest of me Sunday.

I've had a wonderful and lazy Sunday morning with my book and lots of tea. All finished it now. It was really good and in usual Bob Mortimer style it was hilarious. The Long Shoe, read it folks. 7/10.

Ade is currently fitting the new flooring in the downstairs loo and I am sat here trying to come up with my next carving idea 🤔

I did pop into the works and grabbed myself a few light reads and also grabbed a pair of joggers from Primark. I love that they recognise not every woman in the UK is 5'2 now. The past year or so I've actually been able get joggers that fit well.

Shopping today was a bit of a mare. Trying to find the right bra size for 15 and she must have had 30 of them on and off trying to find the perfect size. That was 2 hours in M&S and a migraine for my efforts. Thankfully everything else she needed was relatively painless.

Morning! I had a rare lie in this morning, not going to fib, it was pretty great! We're off to town to go clothes shopping for 15 later. Not looking forward to Primark on a Saturday 😩 Anyhow, whatever you're doing lads and lasses have fun!!

A busy day was had again today, a couple of hours out in the garden and then I finally got around to finishing the mushroom I was carving. I need to think of a new project now.

Morning!! I'm so tired, thank fuck it's Friday. In happier news, the internet is fixed. Turns out the plug had had it's fill of existence and decided to off itself. Once another was procured life returned to normal.

So far there are no takers for the bird box in the garden this year, yet. There's been interest from blue tits and coal tits and wrens. It was wrens we had in there last year but all the babies were lost and they abandoned the nest. I'd love to have it used again this year.

Been outside working in the garden today. Got all the pot plants cut right back and cleared. Managed to get one bed weeded and tided. Lost a few Delphiniums over the winter too which is a bit disappointing.

I'm kind of getting used to being sober now. It is still shit but it's not making me as angry about everything which is nice. Might need something to help with sleep of a nighttime. It basically feels like I never have any though my watch assures me I do.

Had a look over the new titles in the Direct and I'll be honest, there is fuck all there that interests me. Incredibly disappointed with offerings Nintendo, not impressed at all.

When we were in Whitby we picked up some new pictures for the living room from Whitby Galleries. I just love them all.

A few pictures from our trip to Whitby last weekend. We stayed in the Gatekeepers Lodge at Sneaton Castle. It was fantastic and breakfast was amazing. 5⭐️ we would most definitely go back!
