I am beginning to develop a serious eye twitch everytime a commercial tosses out AI features as their buzzword.

I have the very veggie palettes done and the actions set to make recoloring go quick and I have two - to three more poses to bang out for pre-school photos. the kids running off into the classroom then a pair of parents and teachers talking.

Lets see if I can knock out a couple of projects on the 'to be done' pile today.

I am peak ADD tonight as I bounce between retexturing, making poses for two different save files and opening and closing my game unable to decide what to do.

I may have made some teacher NPCs that I am too emotionally invested in now.

Since I went to all the effort of setting up a preschool for photos, clearly I need to make some poses, right?

I found so many good base builds to use in my modern era game today!

Can't tell that the entire horizon line is different if its all just blurry blue and green!

Because it is jarring that where the kids are going to school is a very different backdrop than their henford on bagely home for the Pease gen 1. Leaning a lot into the focal depth filters any time we're outside.

Bugs and all the major issues aside, I think one of the things I find most frustrating is how silo'd off the sims worlds are. I love that we have distinct different biomes and vibes but I really wish I could have builds for like key moments all in one world.

So deeply unsettling. Why focus on cooking with mom when you can hallucinate a sleep paralysis demon friend instead?

Apparently this weird glitch runs in the family.

Anyone know someone who makes good public location builds like, say, airport terminals and elementary schools? I don't feel up to a from scratch build but I also can't find any I like 😂

Time to set up some sets for future shenanigans for the kids. I need an elementary school, a mall. Maybe a grocery store. I have an unreasonable love of grocery stores in the sims for some weird reason.

And the last of the three kids, Jordan Summerdream is done. (She's Skip's younger sister but Skip's mom married Oberon after she was born. Neighborhood stories is wild, y'all). I'm super excited for the Gen 2 trio of trouble here.

I have the last update to the Pease homestead to last them until they move into the abandoned castle just before Az hits his teen years.

There we go, Talia has a pink girly bedroom for sleepovers and her family has a black and white modernist house for the occasional visit from the Pease family members.

Today I have to finish updating the Broke-Black household for future sleepovers with Talia and Indigo, and then their toddler aunt needs to be bumped up to their age for antics. You need friends that remember your biting phase to humble you later on in life.

The rest of the Broke-Blacks were also aged up as well. Including Dustin and Beau.

And now we have Talia Broke-Black aged up alongside Indigo.

Only Brandi's house though. She has custody. Dustin can continue to live in an empty lot in Del Sol.

Time for home updates for the Black-Broke family since I have decided Talia is going to be a BFF of Indigo growing up and will probably want cute childhood pictures visiting Talia. Which means upgrading the vanilla house they live in to CC grandeur.

I swear it is easier to have secret love children than legit ones. For some reason Crispin's twins that he had with his wife are secret children. Why fix bugs when they can be 'features'.

One of my guilty pleasures is finding cc from a perma paywaller when they have a freebie out and opening that sucker up to see how many polys it is. Can I interest you in a 35K poly curtain? As a bonus, it has the same mesh uploaded to multiple LODs. YOU CANNOT ESCAPE THE LAG.

And since I bumped up Indy, I have to bounce over to her cousins and aunt's house and nudge up all the other kids older than her so the order stays correct.

Aw, Indy turned out super cute. Didn't need to tweak any sliders, even.

Talia is Brandi and Dustin's last child, born after she married Crispin. The other toddler is Dustin and Skip's surprise baby sister because bad-choice romance runs in the family.

I may have already made Indigo's grown up on again off again mistake <.< I think her cousin and aunt are going to be part of her girl squad in the city, maybe. Talia was running around her toddler get-together without pants so she seems like a keeper.

I went in to check that Brandi and Crispin's new kids weren't a CAS dumpster fire and I cannot wait to see their new bio-daughter when she grows up. She inherited Crispin's disaffected sneer apparently. (One of Indigo and Azure's MANY cousins and step cousins.)

You know what, I'm the watcher, I'm making an executive decision. There are no more stories I want to tell with Indy as a toddler and she's hit every toddler milestone. We're having a birthday party!

Aw, we have Colt's modern doppelganger to do the ultrasound again. Skip is silently questioning his life choices again probably.

Slogging through the Pease generation of too many damn kids, we're back to the hospital for medical checkups and apparently Skip's brother in law is just hanging out. Crispin, why are you at the hospital?

The Pease childhood is taking for-EV-er. Its like nine sim days before Indigo ages up and Jade is pregnant. AGAIN.

Life is hard as the legacy spares

I did record Jade telling Skip about the latest pregnancy because his expressions fckn sent me. Jade: We're going to have another baby! Skip: ...yaaaaaaay....

We are getting into seriously extra spares for the Pease Legacy. I have Indigo - the heir, Az (who might be my favorite actually), the twins Skye and Ocean and Jade is pregnant again. I didn't even document the pregnancy discovery for #5 of the second Gen.

I was scrolling through Tumblr looking at sims tumblrs and omg the way the AI smoothed picture of a sim jumpscared the fuck outta me.
