Told my boss I’m running away to the woods and not coming back. He wants to do the same.

Cats. Because almost everything is awful. Weird perspective. Stella is actually much smaller than her fluff ball sister Nala.

I’ll share this forever. Listen to your body. Trust your intuition. I wrote off my symptoms as being a woman. Nope. stage IV cancer. If your doctor ignores or dismisses you, get a new one. Young people are often dismissed as we’re not supposed to get cancer. This prolongs diagnosis and treatment.

Can’t wait to go to work tomorrow to work on an NIH grant proposal that no one is allowed to review.

Funny story: when you have a mishap while feeding a stingray you basically end up with a hicky from said stingray. Photo on the left was from maybe 2 days after it happened in December and the second photo is today. They have no teeth but strong suction for eating fish and sea creatures.

Someone is mad I wouldn’t share my dinner.
