Crazy day in Juneau today. Flew in at 5am. Got to the car service place to get my car. Bike rack and expensive bike on top are missing. Scoured the lot and found some parts and the way they got in. 2 hours later spotted some people spray-painting my bike one block away. Grabbed it back. 🤢🤮New color.

I got to sail with my sister for the first time ever, and we had a perfect day with gray whales. Loved it.

New drink invented. THE HERRING SPAWN 2 parts silver or anejo Tequila 1 prt fresh lime juice 6-8 glops orange bitters 1 prt sweetened coconut syrup. Shake in drink shaker with ice or blend. Add soda water to taste. Stir. Add lime slice to glass Toast to spawning herring getting busy. Enjoy.

Somewhere around 300 real people and 7 trumpsters showed up in Sitka today. I'm proud to live here.

Awesome end to a week on off-track skiing in Lapland. Go with Fell Treks. Great guides.

Magic day in Lapland and Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. Skied up a mountain to the ice-covered science array - testing the most pure air on the planet they say.

Up and over the mountain Kukastunturi in the icy fog was hard but way worth it - with a 3.5km downhill to an art gallery and lodge.

Cool (pun intended) day at the Lapland Hotels Snow Village in Ylläs. Very worth a visit. Good ski trails there, too.

How it started vs how it went... First snow e-bike experience...

Another pleasant outing on the ski trails around Äkäslompolo, Finland. We joined the ski culture today with weiners and cheese roasted over a hut fire. Even got to share our mustard with a fellow skier.
