My favorite magical tools have story. Story of how I got them or story of connection. I find story really does add to magic. As an example I have a Maple wand plucked from a storm downed tree that resides on a hill that is known to have a witches tower.

I went to the River Today I found 4 Hagstones One for the garden One for the Rock pile One for my altar One for my wife One is really a guardian One is really doorway One is really an adder stone One makes me a penguin

I give my wife cool Hagstones that I find on the regular. Now she calls me her good penguin. I pointed out that I am the Witchiest penguin ever. One of the four I found today looks like it had a snake head.

#WitchSky My Birthday falls in Dandelion season. I step outside to the north. I find a dandelion fluff top that is willing and I make a wish and blow it to the wind Tapping into all those wishes and all those stars close to the ground. I then keep the stalk and bare top for a year. A kid Pushing 50

3 days of planting and building an outdoor work bench and yard work. I'm beat.

I got another day in the dirt and sun today. Planted more herbs and 2 ceder trees. Fed my birds fixed the shower. Been a great day

Following my ancestors advice, memorial weekend is planting weekend. Lots of herbs and a few fruiting plants. 3 if my adult kids are helping. I love this weekend

I have all these ideas I need to get written down, thoughts and theories but it's outside planting time. It's get dirt stains on your feet and earth under you nails time. It's be in the sun and get stung by nettles time. It's time to go sit in the long gloming.

Artemisia and garlic chives planted, mullein, wild raspberries, volunteer parsnip happily growing. Yard trimmed and looks better. Flower seeds sprinkled into the earth, not a bad day.

I'm reading Pollan's a world appears. It's good so far. This first section states that life is a prediction machine. That in order to survive and thrive life needs to predict probability. Humans are very good at that. Magic is more than predicting its nudging probability. #WitchSky

I find it fascinating that Gnosis from five hundred to two thousand years ago is treated literally as gospel. Where new Gnosis is met with contempt and shit up hippie. I wish people would use their critical eye on all Gnosis no matter its age #WitchSky
