Well done to everyone involved in our opening badminton and cycling sessions after school today. Our Yr10 Jayden won player of the day.

This coming week is very exciting as our sports programme starts fully. Monday- After school badminton club. Tuesday- After school Football club and our Yr9s are away at North Halifax Grammar. Wednesday- Yr9 football at lunch. Thursday- Yr7/8 badminton at lunch and rugby after school.

Our Yr9 football team, including some yr8s, are playing away at North Halifax Grammar school next Tuesday 23rd September in the English schools cup. Kick off will be around 4pm. Spectators are welcome so please come and support us if you can in Halifax.

Sign up for clubs is already active and our sports clubs are already filling up very quickly.

Hello. We can confirm that the full range of lunchtime and after school sports clubs will become available to our students from Monday 22nd September. There will be the opportunity to sign up for these clubs next week and information will be provided in form time regarding how to do this. Thanks.

I am over the moon with our Yr 9 boys football result this afternoon. We drew 2-2 with a strong Hanson team having been 2-0 at half time. This completes a brilliant final 3 weeks where we have been unbeaten in badminton, rugby and football. Thanks.

A group of Y9 students took part in a residential to Keswick in the Lake District last week. The group were fantastic and worked really well as a team. The activities included 2 mountain walks with perfect views from up high, rock climbing, canoeing and stand up paddleboarding. Well done.

We beat Bingley Grammar 23-2 in the semi final of the cup. One game left to go. Come on Appleton. William was the captain and Kian, Xavier and Robbie our players of the day.
