Okay. uh. So I made a thing. Why is this so fun to play with?

I don't post much during April 1st—the signal to noise ratio isn't great—but imposter syndrome says today's a good day to show art. I'm experimenting with this photo-turned-graphic-novel style and some of the stuff is coming out nice. (Yes—that's an emdash—I use emdashes now—I'm hip and cool.)

Breakout Con 2026, a thread. Context: Breakout is a Toronto-based gaming convention with a focus on board games. It runs at the same time as Comic Con, but is unaffiliated.

Going through the new security trainings at work, and with a straight face they suggested that protecting myself against generative AI, I should establish secret code words with my friends so I can check when they send me weird messages if it's really them. We're cooked fam. Absolutely cooked.

Been struggling with back issues this week and I've never been more keenly aware of how much my mobility means. Looking down the barrel of my age and it's not a good sight.

It is with some trepidation that I begin again, after being derailed for a month. Dogged and relentless.

The day job has been exhausting me entirely lately. I would love to post updates but here is some recovery bunny instead.

I too am looking up and beyond, Holland. What do you sense on the wind, my friend?

I've been so busy with all my projects I forgot to post this yesterday. I could really use a hand. :3

Sunday Bunny appreciation. Holland has graduated from floor criminal to chair criminal.

A quick post about how it feels to code up graphics effects and my general optimism for gamedev. I know it's not cool to be so enthusiastic.
