I would like to officially propose this for the 94 redesign: Milwaukee Ave 94. Instead of all SFM, apartment buildings and businesses could be included on this pedestrianized street, similar to Barcelona’s La Rambla

Do you know about Milwaukee Ave in the Seward Neighborhood. It is 2 blocks of a completely pedestrianized street with a playground right in the middle. It is one of the coolest blocks in Minneapolis.

All those people downtown yesterday, no ICE involvement, and not one incident. ICE shows up in a neighborhood and now another Minnesotan is dead. It's pretty obvious who the violent outside agitators are.

ICE really came into Minnesota expecting us to quickly say goodbye to our neighbors. Clearly they did not realize Minnesotans are physically incapable of that.

Today I feel I officially became a Minnesotan: rode my thin tire bike on a snowy 12 degree day to meet up with an admin of a hyper local mutual aid group.

I grew up in the DC area and was in middle school during the DC sniper attacks. The random terror, the deaths, the targeting of schools, the checking of strange cars. All of this feels the same except this is worse because no one was cheering on the sniper like republicans are doing here.
