Mein Gott! This cheezecake base is so fucking gooooooood. I must put away the leftover caramel sauce so we can spread it over the top upon serving because I’m stupid stoned and it’s so goddamn delicious.

The best way to have spent this afternoon is getting stoned, listening to X-Men podcasts, and baking an involved dessert for my favorite person :)

Also, this afternoon we went to Trader Joe’s to do a little stock-up on stuff, and there was this creepy ass little girl in the produce section that kept getting close to us and just staring. Then on our way out, she was with her mom and kept staring as we went to our cars.

I made some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies this afternoon, and it’s a recipe I’ve tried before and liked enough to copy onto a card in my recipe box, but they came out so strange. They are so airy and fluffy, it’s almost like a pancake cookie. I don’t remember this happening the first time lol

Just got home from the vet. The conversation ultimately came to that we are in the quality of life stage and need to consider researching end of life options should today’s treatments and meds ultimately not help. We’ve got an appetite stimulant and pain meds to start and a few injections done.

The kiddo is still shaky on his feet but has done a major turnaround from the last few days. He’s still not eating much, mostly just licking the gravy off the food we’re trying with him, but he actually stood up and meowed for me when I woke up and checked on him this morning.
