Comic Books are more expensive than when I was a kid, but thankful (and Brian Hibbs) for FOC so that fans can actually guarantee they get product at MSRP…unlike what’s happening w/Magic The Gathering (ie: Final Fantasy), Topps Marvel Chrome & more. Everyday fans are priced out of everyday hobbies.

Rest in peace, Peter David. A great writer whose work I’ve loved all my life & who was nothing but wonderful for the many yrs at Marvel that I got to work w/him. From Star Trek to X-Factor to Supergirl & more, he has an unreal amount of must reads. Sending love to his family during this time.

Back in 2001, my first and only fan letter was published in the back of Superman #177, which featured reader sentiments around the horrors of 9/11. May we all be a bit more Super every day.

Men in comics have an entire machine designed to protect them from bad behavior - from the way they flaunt their infidelity at conventions to the way they ghost any accountability for the harm they knowingly cause so many people, with the protection of others whoturn a blind eye because of “fame.”

How could I not be excited about the new SUPERMAN after that trailer?

It’s been a really good day.

We need to put more respect on WHITE COLLAR, a show that really paved the way for so much great cable television that came after it. A fun, breezy, blue skies show that weaved in ongoing plots with fun standalone episodes. Plus awesome folks like Jeff King and @joehenderson.bsky.social!

Just ran 14.1 miles outdoor for the first time in my life. Only planned to run 10.1 but just started singing along to music and lost myself in the loops. I really love running.

Now that everyone has seen what Jon M Chu has done with #Wicked it’s time to revisit and appreciate tue Director’s Cut of his awesome GI JOE RETALIATION.

My pop culture hot take is that the origin of Cable influenced storytelling for an entire generation in ways we don’t fully understand. From the time travel to family dynamics to how visuals, I think comics/film/TV all were really impacted by his story.
