iOS 26 broke the stopwatch. How do you even do that? The app doesn’t _do_ anything. You save a timestamp when the user hits “go”, and you compare it to the timestamp for “now”. That is it. I am truly in awe.

It’s no small wonder that “AI Psychosis” is a thing when you realize that AI is designed to be an abuser. The pinnacle of hostile design. Everything from marketing to implementation is built to convince you that you need it to do basic tasks. Inflates your ego but builds emotional dependence.

I don't know how Warframe 1999 can be so good at so many things. The dialogue is so much better than anything I've played in recent memory. The characters are all genuinely interesting people. The soundtrack is shockingly listenable. It feels like everyone involved was firing on all cylinders.

One of my favorite little oddities of live service games is seeing old stuff intermixed with new stuff. One of these icons was made for the 6th character in the game. The other was made for the 49th.

This weekend’s hyper fixation: building a library to load M3G files from early 2010’s mobile games. Managed to guess how IronMonkey studios was deviating from the spec in their in-house engine, so now i can load all the art from Dead Space: Mobile and Mass Effect Infiltrator! Weekend well spent!
