Muscadet Oriental Lilies for Asteri! I love love LOVE lillies and daylillies, and this particular variety reminds me of Asteri's hair, curly, mostly white with a hint of pink! 🧡

Gulool Ja made Asteri's big sister personality flare out. She was glad to see him accepted by Wuk Lamat & Koana as family & absolutely gave Zoraal Ja an extra punch & kick for what he'd done to the kid. She's looking forward to the day Gulool Ja asks her to spar & will absolutely mentor him! 🧡

The first time it played in MSQ, I had a bit of an awkward giggle & incredulous "Why does this sound so much like a Disney song?" The song itself is... fine. I love the ending of it actually! But its use in MSQ always kinda felt a little off in the few places it plays & doesn't hit right, imo.

After an entire day dancing on the line of flirting & becoming friends, Asteri ends up sleeping in Thancred's room cause of a storm. They fall asleep on the bed after late night talks over a survival book she learns he's written. Waking up next morning, she gives in to the attraction & kisses him!

Whenever this question pops up, I flip flop a lot between Fire, Wind and Lightning... Asteri can be fierce and driven like Fire, but she can be playful and whimsy like the Wind, but also sharp and quick like Lightning... I can't pick one. 🤣

Alisaie picks up a VPR fighting style because she sees Asteri using two swords and wants to copy the person she admires the most. ⚔️ Raha tried too, but his coordination was ridiculously bad and likelier to hurt himself and others. 😅

Asteri's the giggly type of drunk! It takes a fair amount to get her drunk & becomes animated & will sing on top of tables given the right audience! At the end of the night though, the moment she feels safe enough she falls in a deep sleep, usually leaving her lover high and dry hoping for more. 😅

Asteri comes back every year as part of the Dotharl tribe, but she & Sadu fall back on their old habits of focusing on the enjoyment of the fight rather than the goal. 😅 Magnai retook the position but lends help to his tribesister if she calls in a favor knowing his position is precarious at best.

Late night reminiscing with the Company of Heroes~ Asteri's absolutely knackered out cause they let her clear the way to five potential campsites as a way to test her patience and abilities. She passed with flying colors but needs the rest. 💤

Doing both of my WoLships cause I caaan~ Thancred - 6ish? Asteri - 5'11 Hades - 7'1 I cheat with Thancred a little by boosting him to 100 instead of 50. The difference with ManRa Hades never fails to make me chuckle though. 😂

A shinobi stroll under the blood moon~ Hanzo's absolutely unconvinced by his mentor and guardian Karasu's antics. 😅

The Bounty Hunters of the First~ I miss the ShB Role Quests crew, I wanted more time with them. 😭🧡

Ooh, that's a fun one to think about... • Zelda, she'd be a Sheikah! • Jak & Daxter, Asteri would be from Spargus. • Horizon, she'd be from the Utaru tribe! There's a lot of games I could see Asteri in tbh! 😁

Hades snaps people into fountains, sewers & rivers when he gets annoyed and/or jealous. Despite his flirty & aloof behavior, Thancred was a straight-A student in Sharlayan & had a rivalry with Y'shtola, stemming from their mentors. He wrote multiple books on survival under the pen name "T. Waters".

Weapons from pre-ARR to DT! The axe was a gift from Sadu, Magnai and Cirina when Asteri left the Steppe and began adventuring. The daggers were a gift from Hien in post-SB patches. She created the swords with creation magicks during the Zenos fight of EW. They're the same color as her soul!

I saw the trailer for Violent Night (2022) and loved it. I half joked I should make a Santa alt around the holidays, partly because the movie's title was perfect for a Roe name. Lo and behold, Violent Night and his FC called Santa's Workshop, just to have an extra themed house to decorate! 🎅

Thancred & Jacke are best mates from their time in the Upright Thieves of Limsa. Adjusted the ages of Sadu, Magnai and Cirina a tad to fit with Asteri's story. (?,27,21 to 35,33,29 in DT) Estinien has lasting scars and dragon features (eyes/fangs) from Nidhogg. Themis was Azem(Asteri)'s student!

Left to Right~ 🎣 Carryalot is stoic but gets animated about fish. 🎣 Susuba wants to prove Wawalago wrong about fishing. 🪓 Khuyag got dragged out of the Steppe unwillingly. ⚔️ Bromm's a big teddy bear sent by Gaius. ⛏️ Avad's working for his family back in Ala Mhigo. 🌳 Florus gets excited about soil.

I tend to settle on specific hairstyles and give them lore reasons to "stick" to them. Asteri's warrior braids is her typical adventurer hair. Her messy curls is when the leather string she's used since she was a child snaps in ShB. She goes back to the braids in DT!

Asteri's a kinesthetic learner! She needs to physically do the thing to properly learn & understand it. She'll gleefully jump into practice, especially when it comes to martial abilities. There's still a lot of things that escapes her however like cooking or crafting things beyond simple actions. 😅

The Archon mark on Thancred's neck for Asteri~ X marks the spot, y'know? Her shoulder or hair for Thancred, whichever's closest!

Asteri teases Thancred with "Ser T. Waters" after she gushed over one of her favorite Sharlayan authors. She reeeally liked some of the survival tips and tricks and used them often in her own adventuring. Thancred blushed something fierce at that one and Asteri's used it ever since to tease him! 🧡💙

G'raha didn't expect to be faced with two extremely agile rogues when he tried to prank the so called 'Warrior of Light' in Urth's Gift. The hunter became the hunted, and after a short chase he was cornered by Thancred and Asteri~

I'll share my retainer, Khuyag! He's a fairly serious warrior who's travelled out of the Steppe before but ended up coming back to the tribe, which his tales were one reason why Asteri wanted to go out and explore! I haven't decided much else about him yet, I should poke at this OC more... 🤔

Finished Thancred's Mizzenmast Inn Room~ I'm absolutely loving the result, exactly what I had in mind for my fics! This becomes Thancred and Asteri's love nest early on and the place they both share and come back to between adventures and Scion business! 🧡💙

Three rogues in a lominsan tavern, snickering and cackling together~ A moment in pre-ARR between Asteri, Thancred and Jacke where their friendship solidified after Thancred couldn't stop himself from laughing at their antics~

The "throuple" that's actually 2 best friends & the romantic interest of one. I was writing a bit in my Thansteri fic & it struck me that I do this often. Hades/Hythlodaeus/Asteri Thancred/Jacke/Asteri Asteri/friend/lover Something about the dynamic & how comedic it can be makes me reuse it often!

What's that?" *confused Auri noises* It's a headcanon of mine, Au Ra have fated mates that they are bound to from the moment they meet, instinctively knowing the person is their mate which can be of any race, though only fellow Au Ra feel the bond. A wedding seem superfluous considering!

Not a lot of people have seen Asteri well and truly angry~ She keeps smiling, usually grows quiet, and there's a dangerous glint to her eyes. That's when those who know start backing away from her and the target of her anger. 😅

Gimme Meracydia so I can finally decide if I want to tie Asteri's childhood origin to that continent! 🗺️🐉 Her younger years is still a big question mark in my lore and the reason why I gave her amnesia in the first place!

In my Thansteri ship, Thancred and Jacke are childhood friends. Jacke's not the biggest fan of Asteri after she broke his toe on their first meeting~ This excerpt was inspired by the movie The Mummy, rewatched it last weekend and the "You're in her seat." bit got my mind going! 📝

Asteri was already very comfortable on the battlefield prior to ARR! Growing in the Dotharl tribe meant she participated in the Naadam multiple times and gained the moniker 'Giggling Demon' from the other tribes. 😅

Finally got the Thancred alt through base-ARR~ Had to capture the memory of bringing his doppelganger to justice! ✌️

Found some friends around the Queen Lhaminn during Moonfire Faire~ Omega's been screeching about getting water in its circuits... 😅🫧
