This feels like a good start (they don't always). Bringing back the projection device from some of the other cards as the whiny Four of Cups man laments what he doesn't have instead of appreciating what he does. A literal world sits behind him.

Finally got around to testing out the use of a custom halftone effect in Illustrator to create a PS1 aesthetic. Original screenshot in the upper left, recreation upper right. Lower left, paths highlighted, lower right is Outline View. Pretty successful for a couple hours of tinkering.

Finished up the Eight of Wands a few days ago and started the Queen of Cups tonight. The water is half the frame and she is half submerged, showing her balance of the conscious mind and emotions (water). She cradles a water skin, as I chose to interpret "Cups" more broadly as water vessels.

Tonight I started on the Eight of Wands. A high speed warp through a vertebrae's spinal canal.

Feel like AI acceptance in design circles can at least be partially blamed on design education conditioning students to prioritize client needs above all else, where the how or why something is made is entirely secondary to it having been made to someone else's satisfaction.

I think if you’re a pro-AI design teacher, you’re bad at your job.
