On #NationalBananaDay, we’re spotlighting an unseen marathon — getting bananas to clients before they go from green to overripe in the blink of an eye. We move quickly so our community can enjoy all the potassium, vitamin B6 and fiber bananas have to offer — at their peak 🍌💛

Is it a dog? Is it a horse? It’s a spud! 🥔 Did you know that potatoes are rich in both vitamin C and potassium? These benefits plus a longer shelf life make potatoes a solid staple among the produce our clients receive. Our volunteers often spot fun-shaped produce hiding among the boxes!
