playing quantum break rn and can’t stop thinking about how much i miss lance reddick anytime he’s on screen. dude could play both the suavest collected guy in the room and the most intense one at the same time like no one else. such a great loss.

steam deck finally got me to cave and switch to linux on both my pcs. for the very occasional tinkering i have to do to get what i want working on it, it’s still better than having ads integrated into my taskbar and having to opt out of onedrive every third weekend of the month.

been working on just the bare essentials for my game, trying to nail down character movement. built a quick and dirty character controller in godot prototyping the third-person and fixed camera system i wanna use. ignore the cs_office i'm just using it for testing.

Love RE4 to death, but the shift from fixed to over the shoulder camera completely lobotomized AAA game aesthetics. Wanna play a game w/ state of the art graphics and interesting in-game cinematography in 2025? Your only choices are The Medium and David Cage games. Fucking dire.
