I was fortunate to join the American Red Cross for their Sound the Alarm event in Yonkers, where more than 100 volunteers came together to install free smoke alarms for local residents. This is the kind of work that saves lives.

I had the chance to walk through our County's Diverse Abilities Job and Resource Fair this week, and it was great to see so many people connecting and supporting one another.

In Yonkers, we came together to announce a major investment in Palisade Towers' future. After the gas system was shut down, residents were facing a real challenge. Instead of settling for a temporary solution, we worked together across all levels of government to invest in something better.

Yesterday, we gathered as a community to observe Yom HaShoah and remember the millions of lives lost in the Holocaust. Together, we honored the voices of survivors and reflected on the responsibility we all share to stand against antisemitism, hatred, and injustice.

On Easter Sunday, Christians across Westchester County and beyond will come together with family and loved ones to celebrate a day rooted in faith, hope and renewal.

Good news for Westchester. Tours of the Tarrytown Lighthouse in Sleepy Hollow are returning this April. This is one of our County’s most unique and historic landmarks, and I’m glad we’re able to reopen it to the public after completing repairs and strengthening security.

I had a great time celebrating with the Bangladeshi American Community Council at their Eid Reunion and Executive Board installation. It was wonderful to see the community come together and to recognize the new leadership stepping forward. Wishing the new board continued success in the work ahead.

Today is International Transgender Day of Visibility. It is a chance to recognize the transgender community, celebrate their contributions, and continue the work of making sure everyone feels seen, supported, and respected.

In Tarrytown, we came together for No Kings Day with a simple message: in this country, power belongs to the people.

I had the opportunity this past weekend to attend the 2026 Literary Celebration hosted by American Women of African Heritage, Inc. (AWAH) in honor of Women’s History Month. AWAH’s dedication to empowering women and preserving African American history continues to make an impact here in Westchester.

A wonderful way to wrap up St. Patrick’s Day celebrations at the Sound Shore Parade in Mamaroneck. This parade reflects the community spirit that defines Westchester.

The Yonkers St. Patrick’s Day Parade always brings people together. It was great being out there, talking with residents, and taking in a day that means a lot to so many in our community 🍀

I had the opportunity to attend the 11th Annual New York Fathering Conference today at the Westchester County Center. Events like this highlight the importance of mentorship, fatherhood, and strong family connections in shaping the next generation.

It was great to join the Friends of the Greenburgh Library for their Appreciation event and the dedication of the library’s new study pods. Libraries remain one of the most important spaces in our communities, providing opportunities for learning and quiet study.

This morning I had the opportunity to begin St. Patrick’s Day at St. Patrick’s Cathedral with Deputy County Executive Joan McDonald. A beautiful way to start the day honoring Irish heritage and the traditions that bring communities together.

I had a wonderful evening celebrating Irish heritage and community at the 70th Annual Friendly Sons of St. Patrick Dinner.

It was great to join Scarsdale Scout Troop 4 for their Annual Breakfast and celebrate the incredible young people who are part of this troop. Scouting continues to build leaders of character by teaching teamwork, responsibility, and service to others.

I was honored to raise the Irish flag this week in recognition of Irish American Heritage Month. Irish Americans played an important role in building the foundation of communities across Westchester.

It’s time to fix Tier 6. What was meant to stabilize pensions is now making it harder for schools and local governments to recruit and retain the public servants our communities rely on.
