It was a pleasure to join the American Irish Association of Westchester for its Annual Irish Heritage Day at Ridge Road Park. Westchester’s Irish community has made lasting contributions to our County, and it was wonderful to celebrate the history and culture that continue to bring people together.

I was pleased to attend AMWA’s Summer Interfaith Luncheon alongside our County Human Rights Commission Executive Director Tejash Sanchala and County Director of Faith Based Initiatives Kym McNair for a thoughtful discussion on Peace, Conflict, and Coexistence in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

Congratulations to Mack Ables, Andrew Capenito, and Finn McGinley of Troop 12 in Pleasantville, and Lara Hansen of Troop 22 in Tarrytown on earning the rank of Eagle Scout.

Happy Flag Day! Today, we celebrate the Stars and Stripes as a symbol of our nation’s history, resilience, and the freedoms that unite us as Americans. It also serves as a reminder of the countless men and women who have served and sacrificed to protect the values our flag represents.

Republicans are so desperate to hold onto power that they're now trying to rig the playing field by meddling in a Democratic primary. It's a cynical, dishonest tactic that shows just how afraid they are of facing a strong Democratic nominee in November.

Always a pleasure to celebrate the many cultures that make Westchester County such a wonderful place to call home. I was glad to attend Albanian Heritage Day at Kensico Dam Plaza and join in recognizing the history, traditions, and contributions of the Albanian community.

This past weekend, we proudly raised the Intersex-Inclusive Progress Pride Flag at the Michaelian Office Building to mark the beginning of Pride Month and reaffirm Westchester County’s commitment to inclusion, dignity, and equality for all.

It was wonderful to join the New Castle Pride celebration and stand with a community that embraces inclusion, acceptance, and equality. Pride is about celebrating authenticity, honoring those who paved the way, and continuing the work of building communities where everyone feels welcomed.

It was a privilege to attend the Ardsley Fire Department’s 140th Annual Inspection and celebrate the proud tradition of service that has defined this department for generations.

It was a pleasure to participate in Nonprofit Westchester’s Inside the Nonprofit Sector series and join leaders from across the region for a thoughtful discussion about community health.

Opening Day of the Miracle League of Westchester’s Adult League is always one of the most uplifting events of the year. It was wonderful to see athletes from organizations across Westchester come together to celebrate the start of another season filled with teamwork and fun.

I had a great time at the 105th Anniversary New York Building Congress Leadership Awards Luncheon, recognizing leaders and organizations helping shape the future of New York.

Yesterday, I delivered my second State of the County Address, and I made one thing clear: the State of our County is strong, hopeful, and centered on the people who call Westchester home.

I was fortunate to join the American Red Cross for their Sound the Alarm event in Yonkers, where more than 100 volunteers came together to install free smoke alarms for local residents. This is the kind of work that saves lives.

This past weekend, I spent time in Yorktown Heights for the dedication of the new memorial at the Battle of Pines Bridge.
