I love in Trigun that reading the chapters of Vash and Knives childhood it's soo easy to say they changed personalities but then you actually look at the characters actions and it gets clear that no, they haven't changed at all, they have just successfully tricked you with their personas

Speaking of Knives and Trigun 98 not getting the attention it deserves, "My leg, it hurts" gets so much attention that you forget just how hilarious pretty much every scene with Knives is
