On May 20, the House introduced the budget reconciliation bill, the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act." It passed in a party-line vote of 215–214–1. The bill contains several concerning policy changes, many targeted at rolling back programs and provisions introduced by the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act.
