I do recommend checking out this exhibit on the cel website Rubberslug titled "Inferno." Inferno is a exhibit dedicated to the users animation cel collection that was destroyed in a house fire. Its really sad how one can lose some of their personal joy in a accident.

Animation cel preservation is very important. A user on Reddit recently purchased a Original Akira setup for $8, included were multiple cels and the hand painted OG background. What nearly was thrown away is now forever preserved online and in hands of someone eith good intentions and love.
