Testing out the smaller imaging rig with a filter on a favourite target yesterday morning. I've had fun playing with the colours.

Another one from yesterday morning, dodging clouds. This is Comet C/2025 K1 (ATLAS), whose nucleus is fragmenting. I don't see that in my image, so I will need to use a telescope with a longer focal length to resolve it.

Yesterday morning, I got up early to capture an alien spacecraft. Oh no, it's not!! This is the solar system interloper comet 3I ATLAS. As you can see, it is definitely a comet.

Only managed 4 quick subs of Comet C/2025 K1 tonight before the clouds rolled in. Not enough to be able to see the nucleus breaking apart.

Had a very busy and amazing day meeting and speaking to loads of people at IAS yesterday. Sore voice now and body wrecked from helping First Light Optics set up and pack away. Hard work, but a lot of fun too. Can't wait to do it all again, but not for a while, please. 😉

A few images of Comet C/2025 A6 taken tonight. Thank you to Linton Guise for allowing me to come over to Bedford School to take the images. It wa touch and go, but came together in the end. That'll be my last attempt on this lovely comet.

That'll teach me to try something different! Last night, there were a few technical glitches, so tracking was really dodgy. The comet was mostly hidden by clouds as well, and by the time I got back on track, it was too low. But I managed to capture and retrieve a few useful subs.

My images show how Comet C/2025 A6 Lemmon has changed in two weeks. As it moves away from us, it should start fading.

There's a lot wrong with this image, but I also managed to capture a close-up of the comet's coma.

Fighting the neighbour's trees, clouds, satellites and a relatively bright sky, I managed to catch a few images of Comet C/2025 A6 Lemmon tonight. It's a lovely comet that is now just visible to the naked eye.

That was a very challenging morning, battling the clouds and the full Moon. Here's a quick process. Now, I want to see if I have any other good subs to make an animation. I'll be a while...

The great thing about reprocessing and comparing old images is that you can spot something you've never known existed. Here's Brocchi's Cluster, the Coathanger with some faint, blue reflection nebulae just above it.

Getting much deeper into The Bat Nebula with almost five and a half hours of data. I need a whole lot more to really bring the Squid Nebula out. Onwards and upwards.

I managed a few subs between the clouds last night and added them to some taken in December last year. This is the Bat & Squid Nebula in Cepheus. The Squid is just starting to appear. I've found my next project. 😃

The central core of Messier 31, The Andromeda Galaxy, taken this evening.

I went for an aquatic target tonight, the Seahorse Nebula.

A quick capture of a supernova in a distant galaxy was taken a few nights ago.

Another image taken last night. Messier 16, The Eagle Nebula in the constellation of Serpens.

Tonight, I added more data, bringing the total to 14 hours of data to help improve this image.

I captured more data tonight to add to yesterday's Messier 33 image. 😃

Another image taken last night, showing the Ha regions in Messier 33, the Triangulum Galaxy. I'll try and add a bit more data to this tonight.

I managed to take almost another 3 hours of data on this area of sky last night, so this is now almost 10 hours of data collected over 4 separate nights. It still needs a bit more, so it is an ongoing project.

Despite the bright Moon, I managed to capture another two hours of the area around reflection nebula vdB 152 in Cepheus. Everything is now starting to lift out of the background. This is nearly six hours. I'm hoping to add a few more hours to this yet.

I managed to capture another hour of data to add to this ongoing and gradually improving image tonight. Hopefully, there will be a lot more to add to it in the coming weeks.

I managed to stack another 30 minutes of data to my image taken last night. Reprocess, I managed to remove a horrible gradient that made me crop the left-hand side of the image in the original post.

Four and a half hours of data captured for this tonight. I'll try and add some more another night to see how much more I can tease out of this faint nebula. The bright blue area is the reflection nebula vdB152.

Now that is very interesting. Superimposing the flipped image of the Whirlpool Galaxy on itself and changing the layer to difference. It obliterates most of the galaxy, showing just how symmetrical those spiral arms are.

I've just noticed how symmetrical Messier 51, the Whirlpool Galaxy, is. Flipping an image of it, it 'almost' looks the same.

Although the forecast "clear night" wasn't, I managed to catch the dark Loch Ness Monster Nebula in Vulpecula with reflection nebula vdB 126. Plus this nebulous "hole" in Cygnus. So many targets, too many cloudy nights.

I had a fairly short imaging session last night. This is the emission nebula SH2-112 and surrounding nebulosity in Cygnus, captured in Hydrogen Alpha.

I captured just one image last night. Comet C/2025 K1 (ATLAS).

This is another image taken last night. It is part of NGC 7822 in Cepheus. I managed to capture 20x 300-second exposures before it started to get murky around 2 a.m. Considering the bright Moon, I wasn't expecting that much, but it's turned out OK.
