Going through a very rough patch and feeling disconnected and down... If you had a moment, I'd really like to know -- What made you follow me? Have I made anything or done anything that is memorable to you? Is there anything about my art you enjoy?

I was looking at my old art today... And its honestly devastating how much going to school for animation and working in the animation industry affected me. I used to draw so much, every single day. I'm trying to get my spark back, but burnout recovery has been hard.

I took a big break from social media and I feel like it did me well, but I also feel more isolated than ever. I want to start chatting with people again, but I can't keep up with the lightning fast trends of busier socials anymore.

This is why Andromeda Squad didn't cost a dime and I shelved the project I invested $4k into before I got caught up in sunk cost fallacy. This is also why I don't work in indie animation (or studio animation for that matter) anymore, and why I'm working on growing my small business instead.

Wonder Man is the best thing to come out of Marvel in YEARS And I think it's because it barely feels like a superhero show at all. This is coming from someone who genuinely likes Marvel, I think it's excellent BECAUSE its not full of "Oh my god you guys, it's captain bleepblorp" cameos

I'm definitely biased, but it's actually insane to me that the animation guild is trying to raise union dues lmao I'm not anti-union, but the timing of this is infuriating to me.
