Some zero effort thoughtless sketches I did the other day.

I actually did this sketch before the last one, playing with the same idea. Wasn't totally happy with it (not totally happy with the other one either to be fair).

Digital lineart still feels like pulling teeth, and the end result is still unsatisfactory. To any digital artists out there, how do you guys do it?

Is it a good idea to like your own posts on sights like this or is it considered a faux pas? I don't actually like most of my stuff and I'm too small to really worry about the engagement so it's mostly an academic question but I've always wondered.

Been watching the original DragonBall with my partner and because I'm me it's got me thinking about Journey to the West and how I should read it. So I decided to doodle Sun Wukong (based on basically nothing since I haven't read the book yet).

I was practicing lineart with this mage woman drawing. My best results have been from zooming way in and building thickness with several passes. It isn't fast or easy, but it's closer to the result I want than anything else I've tried.
