surprising lack of card shows in seattle, but finally got out to one today and scooped a couple things. bird trio is one of my favorite cards all time. legend cards are such a pain to find in good condition.

it's time

it's been a fun couple of months playing blue prince, doom and expedition 33, but i'm getting back to the destiny grind starting tomorrow. content will pick back up & we'll have more destiny streams as we ramp up for the new expansion. had to take a little breather for myself.

just wrapped up the audio edit for the 12 year retrospective, currently clocking in around 63 minutes. i'll be working on it in small bit over the next 2-3 weeks and it'll 100% be out before the expansion. excited to get this one out to people.

really dunno what's going on with bungie's vision for rite of the nine dungeon releases. if it was like a pantheon type thing, i'd understand, but dude, just release 1 dungeon per week for 3 weeks, then open up whatever quests you wanna open and let people run wild. why be difficult about it?

took april pretty easy because i knew people were checked out on destiny and that may was gonna be REALLY intense. i wrote a LOT in april though: one of these is the 12 year retrospective video and one of these is a non-destiny video for HD, both not done yet. the nuzlocke was 16k words. if you're wondering where the videos are recently, allow me to show some insight. copyright trolls have been making my life quite annoying recently, claiming songs they do not own. one of these is a song from the red war campaign. progress is slow unfortunately, but it is progress.

just dumped 9 hours into blue prince. it took a little bit of time for a couple of things to click into place, but as soon as they did, i was hooked in. definitely worth checking out if you're into puzzle games (with roguelite elements too). big outer wilds vibes.

i think things are gonna be a little slow in april, so i'm taking the time to archive a lot of OLDDD stuff from my twitch archives like day 1s of expansions, raids, etc. i might re-upload some stuff that i've posted in other places too on the main channel just to have it all in one place.

i just "read" (audiobooked) my first book in probably about 20 years. danielle asked me to read her favorite book 'gideon the ninth'. took a while, really had to lock in when i was listening, but i definitely enjoyed it and the VO (done by moira quirk) made it really fun to listen to.

they were not cooking with monster hunter wilds multiplayer anything. i have never experienced a game with more friction when trying to play with your friends. this is actually terrible.

bit of a slow day story wise, but the exotic SMG and attached mission were a very unexpected, but welcome, sight. people seem to be enjoying episode 3 a bit more than 1/2, which is a refreshing pace compared to the usual.

wow, just played the slay the spire downfall mod for the first time and i'm super impressed. you get to play as the bosses from the game. played as the slime boss and the card design was really fun, even if the vibes are slightly similar to defect. can't wait to play more. see you for ep3 tomorrow!

feeling good about the content in the pipeline. new player video seemed to go over well. the nuzlocke is finished, so i'm cooking that video too. a fun GM video coming soon, some balatro, maybe some party games soon. trying M/T/T/F stream schedule this week, need a day in the middle.

the pokemon nuzlocke with mr. fruit should be coming to close soon, win or lose. i've been scripting as we go and i feel it will be a good video for those both experienced and not experienced with pokemon. very excited to put it all together, but it'll take a while with how long it'll be.

the one day i used to look forward to, new content day, has become absolutely miserable. everyone racing to finish everything as soon as possible to get a video up, i can't even sit here and just enjoy a new thing without worrying about racing to make content out of it.
