Artwork for Bovenste Knoopje Open‘s new album “Liev” that will be released in may. Tomorrow you can allready listen to the first single “Hemelsblauw”. Their music spreads joy, kindness and love, and I had a great time creating these figures representing the band. Typography is made by Lot Postma.

The joke of ridiculing non-cis white men or trans people by using a high pitched voice to implicate the one being not the norm to be less male. The phone horn being a phallic symbol in this context, as a call to what we perceive as being manhood and the silly hanging sack being tickled.
