A recent investigation reveals a Facebook account attempting to recruit Taiwanese individuals with ties to sensitive sectors such as the military, police, and critical infrastructure (including Chunghwa Telecom). Meta Ad Library records show the ads were paid for by a company based in the PRC.

Spamouflage turns to street fight videos for traffic... It's working. @hnfsnet mixes street fight videos with pro-PRC posts. The account went viral several times, with one street fight video gaining over 9M views. There appears to be spillover to pro-PRC posts. One post obtained 98K views.

A great example of an AI-empowered influence operation. A Spamouflage account on X likely used AI translation and text-to-speech software to convert a Chinese Baidu post into spoken english. This is just one of the highlights from our latest report on the US election.

CGTN and CGTN Europe are officially on BlueSky (domain as handle). There are a bunch of Chinese state media accounts here but their authenticity remains unclear.

A Big V blogger on Weibo just shared a TikTok video of a Georgian protestor overlaid with a speech from the Hunger Games. The blogger asserts that the CIA frequently uses symbols from the Hunger Games such as the three-finger salute to stoke protests around the world.
