Today, my feed is full of International Women’s Day posts from those who may claim to champion women, and yet whose politics may tell a different story. Feminism that excludes migrant women, non-white women, or women deemed “other” is not feminism; it is selective and performative.

On the 4th March, Cultivate and @curiositasjournal.bsky.social held a wonderfully illuminating and collaborative event for International Women’s Week. Thank you to all who turned up and shared their artistry, wisdom and time with us.

Just before Christmas I was offered a part time job at the University of York and today I officially accepted it. So, in two weeks I will be Research Ethics Administrator for the Department of Social Sciences. I will be doing my PhD research at @yorkstjohn.bsky.social and this role at the UoY 🥰✨
