Winter at West Lake

It’s fun to read "Je ne regrette rien," a story of a visitor to a cybernetic China, as a Chinese writer. Androids are called ni ren, now a derogatory term in Chinese SNS, but it feels right for a rising new species. Still, some male gaze and Western narrative—but overall an inspiring story.

We don’t really celebrate Christmas here, but this is how I enjoyed it.
