It feels weirdly surreal that the niche PSP fighting game, Crossover, Ys Vs. Trails in the Sly, got a remaster over a decade later …and that I get officially credited for doing some minor testing for proofreading the text in the fan-translation back during COVID.

Social anxiety woes. Trying to make some new connections or be closer to some others, but mind is on constant vigilance if I am being a bit much or a bother or annoying overstepping boundries, etc… I get like this at times before, but been really stressed out over it lately.

Ah crap. My chair is beginning to fall apart from the right side. The supports are starting to fall apart on the right side and is too risky to lean back at all. Got a temporary solution until I find a new one, but this sucks. Don’t take your office or desk chair for granted.

I really sunk a new low and crossed the line. With collectables and things, more of a quantity kind of guy…. But been seeing pics of this in various Gunpla group pages and finished up my current model kit backlog, so… got my first Perfect Grade unit.

I do not watch most of these gaming directs or conferences lately since most of the games showcased are generally not to my tastes, especially since I am not a fan of horror or shooters. Felt surprised how much I liked the recent State of Play. Summer Games Fest? Yeeeeah, overall meh on it.

I got the thing. Was focused on getting the console pre-order first and foremost. Now waiting for my physical games order to arrive.

Doing some reorganizing on my Twitch page and updating a list of completed playthroughs since I started streaming. When I added the 2024 games and see the total number, kind of weirded out on seeing it. Like “Wait, how many???”

Got myself in a but of a Tokusatsu mood, and have not finished a Super Sentai series in several years. Been watching Donbrothers on and off. What a fun, fun show, and was crying in the end.

Pre-order get, non-bundle. Feels like I cannot relax yet in case of sudden cancelation.

There are times I just want to post more on random things and going ons and shares, but a) can be very lazy. And when that’s not in the way, anxiety can creep in with b) Feeling I am annoying or a bother to others. So, I mostly just lurk and reply.

Been a year since I started the remote gig. Wasn’t sure how long it would last and was initially a temp gig, but that got extended, and at least got some stability between this and another part time job I go once or twice a week.

Man, after all these years and Sky FC remake being the 2024 Falcom game, the west will actually get caught up with the Trails series. What a ride.

Been doing my SNES RPG Challenge on and off over the years to beat every localized and fan translated RPG on the console. Keeps feeling surreal that I beaten a lot of then and now, out of 166 (thus far), I am down to 50 games left. Wild.

The not so sweet sounds of hearing construction work (or in this case, polishing and painting rails in the complex) all morning. *yawn*

Got back safe and sound from my trip. Was good just having a little break, meeting some folks and checking some old places again. I may need to reconsider making visits in December to another time. Forgot how touristy it gets, and foot traffic was baaaaad in my go to spots.

So, I ended up with another emulator handheld because of course. Got the Retroid Pocket Mini and tinkered with setups over the weekend. Got other emulation handhelds that still work fine but reason I got this? Reliable 6th gen console emulation (PS2, GameCube, Dreamcast) plus Saturn and N64. Whee!

Found out there us a Hobby Lobby near where my dad worked and decided to check it out. Heard they have model kits from Gunpla communities I follow. Their selection is small and some appealing but maybe I look on—- ah shit, 40% off boxed models until the end of the day. They got me.

I like playing around and occasionally collect emulation handhelds and tinkering around a bit. The one I currently used has some software or OS issues that won’t let me run games or apps. Slowly trying to fix the problem …but also looking as an excuse to go look at a newer one. Lol

In-person, I am extremely quiet unless I know someone well and theres common ground. I don’t do any of that small talk and thrive more socially mostly through doing activities. I know all too well it is a me problem, but still hope to find places and groups I am compatible with.

I hope everyone is doing at least okish and are hanging in there.

So, in the end, hatred and extremism won. The least I can do is continue to be good to those around me.

Thinking how when people share their good news, passions, projects, etc… they get praised, supported, admired and so on. But when I do it, I get some negative feedback or I feel I am annoying or arrogant or not reading the room. No, nothing happened lately. Just thinking about old memories.

Was a little wishy washy about it, but will be flying back to New York to visit family and some friends during Christmas and New Year. Booked almost 2 months early, but tickets are surprisingly cheaper than expected for a holiday week.

Been also getting a bunch of followers recently, so I should make an intro post as well like all the cool folk. So, hi, I’m MisterJRPG. I like, well, JRPGs with Falcom RPGs, Atlus RPGs and Final Fantasy series being my main ones. I also enjoy puzzle games, action platformers, and visual novels.
