International markets for IWTV/TVL on Netflix! 💙 “This renewal also brings some of our franchise titles, including forthcoming seasons, to Netflix subscribers in *select international* markets.” Not sure what the select int’l markets are for Netflix—but it’s great news!

It looks like they finally added the Talamasca panel from SDCC to the actual AMC+ app, not just Prime or Apple TV. But still no sign of the TVL panel 🤷‍♀️

This was interesting but mostly sad. I think there’s a small number of people in this fandom who’ve taken it way too far but are very loud. The recurring theme I’ve seen is these are people who’re obsessed w/ being “right”, no matter how they talk to people or what harm they do.

There’s some odd editing in this… parts removed that aren’t the trailers or clips…and from what I remember, I don’t think it’s like loud crowd moments edited out. Maybe it’s more tangents or spoilers edited out instead?

Watching the Talamasca panel on AMC+ on Prime (TVL panel is still not up 🤷‍♀️🙃) — and I like this title graphic design. I didn’t notice it on the trailer they released earlier this week, I think it was darker so the background wasn’t as clear.

I’ve been travelling this week, so I’ve missed everything that’s been going on!! But what happened with the SDCC panel for TVL?! Why did they only release Daryl Dixon and Talamasca?? 🤷‍♀️

Some data on IWTV’s Netflix run… IWTV S1 had a total of 16.9 million hours viewed from Aug 2024 — June 2025. Seems great objectively! But unfortunately, it was one of the least viewed AMC shows in this 2024 deal 🙁 MW saw 35.8 million hours viewed in the same time frame…

This was great to see today! Love this internship program with the Indigenous Film Academy on IWTV TVL S3. I hope they do more internships & collaborations!

Story/Ramble 🧵—Back in the 00s, when I was at the height of my TVC obsession, I would always tell my friends to start with TVL novel. Then read QoTD. Then come back to IWTV. Then TotBT onwards. I didn’t like IWTV the novel as a story. The overwhelming grief and depression was—

IWTV/TVL is the only show where I don’t care about “spoilers”, because for me there’s nothing to spoil. There’s just some detail & timelines changes. Like Rolin Jones didn’t walk around SDCC with his tattered TVL to be like—Surprise! They all die! 😆 The general story is the same

As much as I want to believe AMC will release The Vampire Lestat album on vinyl—I still can’t believe they never released the S1 or S2 soundtracks on vinyl. They didn’t even release S2 on CD. Their physical media game has been historically terrible, so I’m guarded optimistic now.

As a palate cleanser after GoT, I’m re-watching IWTV S2 for the first time this year! This show is just so absurdly well-written & intricate & plotted out. But I forgot about the letter questions from 2x2!! Will we see when Lestat wrote that? And we will meet Roget the 4th?? 😄

I finished Game of Thrones. I now understand why everyone hates the final season—because I too hated the final season. 😆 I’m so glad Jacob Anderson moved on from that atrocious storytelling to IWTV S1! 💙

Putting it out in the universe—and no, I haven’t seen confirmation—but I would bet *a lot* that IWTV S3 will film on location in NOLA this season. Even if just for a week shoot like in S2. The IWTV team loves NOLA & I think they will try to incorporate the city whenever possible.

AMC has failed so spectacularly in the merch department for IWTV, my expectations are buried six feet under. But if they don’t release any official tour merch they have lost their minds. Just do it — just take our money!! 😆😭

With all the S3 news, I forgot to post this — the roundup of all Interview with the Vampire interviews in June. There were 10 interviews in June, which brings it to 43 IWTV interviews in total. Anticipating a lot more to come this month at SDCC 🤞💙

The second actor I saw cast for S3 is Michael Cox. He seems to be mainly a theatre actor (surprise, surprise 😆). No big TV/film roles so far… No idea what his role could be 🤷‍♀️ (But it’s noted as “Principal” so again I think his character has a name and lines) … 👀💙

So—I saw a couple castings for IWTV S3!! 🎬 There’s no character listed for either, except that these are “Principal” roles, which I think means they at least have a character name & lines! 👀 First is Roger Honeywell. He’s an opera singer—a tenor! Another opera scene in S3??!!
