as I listen to this podcast review all the Futurama movies, it's making me understand why I literally could not remember anything from the fourth movie, it's such a weird mix of plots

I've wanted to do a 2-4 panel interaction with Nella and the coven leader Hazel, but never could land on good enough dialogue for it - the punchline is there but the journey isn't as solid as I'd like.

I don't think I'm hopping into this upcoming Fortnite season since I wanna play other games, but I will say with all the Simpsons focus, it'd be a Very Smart move for them to put the Futurama skins back in the shop.

my current approach to speech bubbles is to add text, then use the selection tool to draw a Shape around the text, then the indicator of who's speaking, and that's my black outline. Then on a new layer, shrink the selection to form the white part. If it works, it works. #malunistormart

So this is the result of trying out cheap-ass Play-Doh air dry clay to make Chacha in 3D. Intentionally basic shapes since this stuff isn't good for detailing, just getting a feel for sculpting. Stuff's so bad for this that the head was drooping as I took photos lol #malunistormart

Been catching up on Futurama - the first Hulu season was okay, but I found it sad that I could start to hear the age in some voice actors' performances - that said, they're sounding better in these later seasons! Maybe it was Covid at the time and/or they just needed to get back in the groove.

I talked about it elsewhere before, but I wanted to wait til the day to make this thread more visible, cause I did wanna admit something here: I have DEFINITELY been dealing with some art burnout these last few months, which is entirely self-inflicted.

Ah, damn. In looking for something to listen to when I'm not at home, I started listening to a Futurama podcast called The Podcast of Tomorrow - I reached the end, when was from Nov 2024, before this season finished. Seems like they also abruptly ended their Simpsons podcast too, so that's a shame.
