Learned by accident recently in GameMaker: If you middle-click a built in function, property, attribute, etc. the local docs will open to the page of said function, property, etc. Also works on any assets in your project. It will just open that asset. Super convenient! #GameMaker

I don’t always use caps lock, but when I do I make sure to forget it’s on and hold down SHIFT so everything is lowercase 🙃

Kinda hoping Borderlands 4 is good. The fact that it has couch co op and physical release at launch is appealing to me, wish more games had that these days. It’s dumb that the price is jacked up on it but I guess that’s gonna be more standard with AAA games.

Found out that Naughty Dog released an update for TLOU2 recently where you can play the game in chronological order. I definitely am gonna check that out. Not sure when, got hella games I haven’t played yet on the ol’ backlog.

One of my favorite things about programming is the “aha!” moments. Or as I like to call them, “fuck yeah!” moments. You’re debugging forever, slamming your head against the wall, nothing seems to work. Then you see it. You figure out why your shitty code doesn’t work. And you fix it. And it works.

That's interesting. I use JetBrains for work and overall I do like their IDE. However, they do have AI baked into their products already... just saying. Looks more and more like I'll be creating my own engine in the future. I'll stick with GameMaker until I have more time I guess.
