He expresses exactly how I feel about most TDD practices. I think they can be good for small things when you have the exact spec but for larger changes and features you will end up with less readable and performant code.

I did a talk at @golab.io about generics on larger scale and one of the questions I was asked afterwards was what was the performance impact of using generics. I have to admit, I hadn't done much perf testing because the service was a REST service that mostly forwarded the request to a legacy API.
