I need air. I #stop at the gas station, fill the tire up, and run in for a coffee. I get back in my car and crank the radio. I drive off, oblivious to the gas station attendant chasing me, yelling that someone was in my backseat. Now, everything is black. And I need air. #vss365

She lay next to her new husband, perfectly content. She watched his slow breaths, so peaceful, and just knew this one would work out. He was different than all the rest, the ones whose ring fingers she keeps in a box by the mattress #spring. This time, was really forever. Probably. #vss365

It’d been a year since she moved into town and opened a bakery. She was amazed at how well she’d built her #brand. She was taking a tray of cookies from the oven when she heard a familiar voice: “Yum. Just like my wife used to make. She dropped the tray. “What? Didn’t think I’d find you?” #vss365

It had taken decades of research and testing, but her #conversion was nearly complete. She’d agreed to be the 1st human trial; it was the reason she’d become a scientist. She swallowed the pill, then dove into the water, a shiny blue tail in the place where her legs used to be. #vss365

The poor kids got #free tickets to the circus. Her dad took her, and his flask. Mesmerized, she snuck into a tent where the women removed feathers and sequins. They turned, saw her, and the purple bruises on her arms. “Wanna come with us?” “But what would I be?” “Anything you want.” #vss365

Her boutique was thriving thanks to clever #marketing. Quirky chattering teeth in the front windows lured people inside. Sales were better than ever. And the best part? No one suspected that they were human teeth. Her trophies, fitted into the toys, were now lovingly on display. #vss365 #vsspic
