We’ve cut taxes SEVEN times since I took office, and I’ve called to raise our minimum wage every year I’ve been Governor.

We’ve gotten a lot done for our kids over the last three years. So far we’ve:   🥞Served more than 224 MILLION free breakfasts. 👷Enrolled 3,000 more students in career and technical education programs. 🧑‍🏫Paid 2,000 student teachers for their hard work in the classroom.

For anyone in Harrisburg who tries to tell you that we can’t afford to make bigger investments in our kids, public safety, and our economy — let’s look at the facts.

As of January 1, 19 U.S. states saw increases to their minimum wage go into effect. Again, Pennsylvania wasn't one of them. The time to raise the minimum wage is now.

We need to help more Pennsylvanians chart their own course. In the last 3 years, we’ve invested over $500 million in CTE, vo-tech, and apprenticeship programs — and my new budget would increase funding for these programs by $18 million for a total investment just this year of $200 million.

30 states across the country have a higher minimum wage than Pennsylvania — including 9 of our neighbors. The time to raise the minimum wage is now.

In 2020, we went to court against Trump and his allies 43 times. I went 43-0. He went 0-43. If he wants to run it back, we will.

Pennsylvania has long been a hub of discovery and innovation — and if we pass my budget, we’ll build on that legacy to grow our economy.

The Trump Administration has come for Pennsylvanians’ health care, SNAP benefits, and our constitutional rights. In the last year alone, we went to court against them 19 times. But we need to stay prepared for whatever comes next.

I know that government can be a force for good in people’s lives. Our kids are getting a better education. Our workers have more opportunities to chart their own course. Our economy is growing. And our communities are safer.

All patients and staff at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Dickson City were evacuated safely last evening. I’ve spoken with hospital leadership to thank them for their quick response and coordination with our state agencies and discuss how we can ensure a quick recovery.

The PA State Police, PEMA, and PA Department of Health are on the scene now at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Dickson City and helping to evacuate patients and secure the area.

The good people of Pennsylvania have always been my motivation for why I do this work every day. I’m ready to build on what we’ve accomplished. Let’s get to work.

BREAKING: The Pennsylvania House just advanced a bill to finally raise our minimum wage to $15 / hour. Yesterday, I called on both parties and both houses to get this done and put a minimum wage bill on my desk.

Utility companies in Pennsylvania make billions in revenue every year. Meanwhile, they’ve driven our costs up and up — without enough public accountability or transparency.

For years, Pennsylvania hasn't had enough child care workers.

We’re going to hold data centers accountable to strict standards if they want Pennsylvania’s full support.

In just three years, we’ve made historic investments in education, workforce development, public safety, and so much more — all while cutting taxes SEVEN times and putting more money back in folks’ pockets.

My fourth budget builds on the strong foundation we’ve laid and continues to get stuff done for the good people of Pennsylvania. Let’s get to work.

I just delivered my fourth Budget Address — a balanced budget that continues to cut costs, invest in our schools, and expand our workforce. And we do it all without a single broad-based tax increase. Here are a just a few of my priorities ➡️

As I deliver the final budget address of my first term, my message is simple: At a time when it feels like others’ values are changing, ours remain the same in Pennsylvania.

Right now, landlords are allowed to charge prospective tenants ridiculously high fees just to submit a rental application. I’m calling on the legislature to send a bill to my desk that puts a statewide cap on rental application fees.

Pennsylvania is losing out on an industry that will bring in millions of dollars in new revenue: adult-use cannabis. This is common sense. I’m asking both sides to come together, and send a bill to my desk that both legalizes it AND regulates it.

Pennsylvania’s Republican Senate is the only thing standing between us and a $15 minimum wage. $7.25 is too damn low — and it’s hurting our workers. Raise the wage.

We’re the only state in the Northeast with a growing economy. We’re producing more energy than ever before. We’ve increased funding for education by nearly 30% — and attendance and graduation rates are up.

NEW: Pennsylvania collected over $416.8 million more than expected in revenue this fiscal year-to-date — that's a total of $25.5 BILLION! Tomorrow I’ll propose my fourth budget — a balanced plan that continues to cut costs, build better schools, expand our workforce, and grow our economy.

Local businesses like McGrath’s Pub and Anna Rose Bakery give Downtown Harrisburg its character. I'm committed to investing in these businesses — and investing in our downtowns to make sure they remain great places to live, work, and gather.

Black Pennsylvanians have not only helped build our nation, they’ve helped move our Commonwealth forward and make progress for all of us.

Ashley knows firsthand what it’s like to struggle with substance use disorder.    Now, she’s helping other Pennsylvanians struggling with substance use disorder get the help they need.

We brought Democrats and Republicans together to expand the Property Tax Rent Rebate for the first time in nearly two decades.    And because of our work, we sent out over 512,000 checks totaling $314 million last year. That’s a big deal.

Before I took office, Pennsylvania wasn’t even in the conversation for major investments like Lilly’s $3.5 billion announcement yesterday.    Now, we’re competing — and winning — nationwide.

Half of all vaccines produced in this country are manufactured in Pennsylvania.   We’re poised for explosive innovation and growth in the life sciences industry — and that’s exactly why Eli Lilly chose us for their $3.5 billion investment.

Eli Lilly could’ve chosen to invest anywhere in the country — but they chose Pennsylvania.    Because of the strengths of our workforce, our new arsenal of tools, and our relentless work to speed up permitting, we’re bringing 2,850 new jobs and $3.5 billion in investment to the Lehigh Valley.

BREAKING: We’ve secured the LARGEST life sciences investment in Pennsylvania’s history.

My #1 job as the Governor of Pennsylvania is to keep people safe. Fatal gun violence is down 42%, and violent crime is down nearly 12% since I took office.

It’s time for us to get distractions out of the classroom and create a healthier environment in our schools. Students need to spend time focused on learning, on socializing with their peers, and on developing the critical skills they’ll need later in life.

Donald Trump talks a big game about keeping our communities safe. Then he turns around and sends masked ICE and CBP agents to wreak havoc on our communities.

Since Day One, we’ve known that to become more competitive, we’d have to cut red tape and make it easier to do business here in Pennsylvania.

Yesterday, I took legal action against the Trump Administration’s attempt to whitewash our history.
